FontCard is a haxie that modifies the Font menu in Carbon and Cocoa applications. It tooshie add an icon that displays the format of a font next to the font menu detail, expose the font name in the font front, group fonts into submenus, and add font collections to the font menu. What's New: Version 1.1: This version is directly 5 to 30 times faster at displaying font menus.
Now works with Cocoa applications. A newfangled menu detail is added under the Show Fonts menu detail. Supported on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and later only.
New Registration System. Registered users are able to cluck the Update Now button to apace and easily update their registration. The newfangled nonparallel number works across users so if you receive permissions to publish to /Library, whole users will get the newfangled SN automatically.
Now works in BBEdit 8.0 and other Carbon applications that apply the font panel.
Fixed a ram when selecting a font from a popup menu in some applications.
Now works with Photoshop and other application's palette font menus.
Now works in Word 2004. The fact it did not ferment was not a tease in FC. FC directly works some the tease in Word 2004 by sending Word 2004 an AppleEvent.
Added the option to crack selected fonts in the menu detail. Off by default. Very, very slow and doesn't ferment in applications that apply the Font Panel.
Rewrote the font menu handling when running on Mac OS X 10.3 Panther. Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar does not support this newfangled method of font menu handling.
Made it do a flock more ferment beforehand if a font menu had been opened in a previous launch of the application.
No longer tries to tally via PostScript names. No font menu is ever going to apply PostScript names for its menu detail names. Speeds up font menu rebuilds a moment.
Only tries to tally font phratry names if the application is an application that could possibly receive a tally that agency.
Fixed a problem in the preference panelling that made it impossible to receive custom settings for an application with no compact identifier and no creator code.
